VAC motorsports have been involved with BMWs since before the E30 M3 was new. For 20+ years we have continued to support these cars with the latest and greatest technology and performance advances. We know exactly what it takes to get world class results from the S14 because we do it every day for customers around the world. When the time had come to bring in a first class engine management choice to compliment our MoTec line, and didn't break the bank, we finally found KMS.
In this kit, engine management is provided by a top of the line yet still cost effective MP25 KMS ECU. Proven in grueling race circuits and by street customers alike, VAC customers have been thrilled with the results on their E30 M3s.
With features like a blazing fast processor, compact and lightweight design, and easy to use software, it asserts itself as a well well engineered and easy to use product. It can also be upgraded at anytime to include an integrated in car Wide Band Lambda display with the ability to display other outputs you select from the ECU (oil temp, water temp, boost pressure, ect).
Some built in features are:
- Complete engine management system up to 10 cylinders and 15,000 RPM
- Lambda-control: Full Self mapping of fuel. Uses a Air Fuel Target map for every Load & Speed site using standard or wide band sensor.
- Boost-control: Boost pressure mappable to RPM & Overboost Function
- Variable launch-control
- Anti Lag System (for turbo vehicles)
- Idle Control for use with various intake setup
- Power shift (separate delay and cut off time for each gear)
- 3 auxiliary outputs (shift-light, water injection, cooling fan etc.)
- RPM limiter: both soft and hard cut
- Engine diagnostics
- 2 Engine load type sensors (eg. MAP and TPS simultaneously)
- Analogue input (second lambda sensor, gearbox position sensor etc.)
