The S14 requires a unique set of wires for a unique engine:
From experience we have learned that wire terminations other than the OEM Beru do not provide the same tight seal to the valve cover and can work loose and suddenly pop off!...That cylinder won't fire! We use the real OEM connections for this reason.

Moisture and contaminants can accumulate around the coil wire and form ugly, power robbing corrosion or no spark. We use an OEM moisture boot to protect the coil.

Inferior wire ends also become brittle and arch out to the head of the engine, the spark plug does not receive spark and your engine runs poorly or not at all.
