VAC Race Rod Bearing Sets are a tri-metal construction over an extreme duty shell for critical performance in built race engines. These bearings can last longer than the BMW OEM bearing
set as proven by our customers excellent results. Made by ACL, one of the worlds best
manufactures of race bearings; while others claim to be selling the race
versions, we are the only USA based distributor for ACLs BMW race bearing.

Starting with a hardened steel back that's cleaned of any flash for strength and
improved heat transfer, each bearing built to these true race-specifications
must meet the highest standards for an engine. A layer of three alloy-metals, including
crucial wear metals no longer found in many OEM bearings are applied with special
attention to thicknesses for improved and accurate bearing clearances during
assembly. All steps are taken to make a bearing that also has a high amount of
eccentricity to promote the formation of a hydrodynamic oil film at high loads.
- As with all bearings, please check your tolerances and size before installation. Due to the specialize tools needed, only professional install is recommended.
- These bearings fit the following engines: M20, M50, M52, M52TU, M54, S50 US, S52 US.
- There are no returns available on any engine bearings.
