Its great fit and reuse of a BMW sunroof gasket and headliner allow it to open, close and tilt just like the metal OEM roof panel but with at a dramatic reduced weight and cutting edge appearance.

Not only does it look and work great, but it weights just about 4lbs for a dramatic weight reduction from stock.
We use high quality UV clear coat and domestically made carbon fiber in our roof so it can go on unpainted, and hold up to the sun and elements along with your paint. All that's required is the occasional protection with a good quality wax or UV resistance sealant.

VAC Product Notes:
-Professional install is highly recommended. This should take about 45min-1.5 hours by a pro
-Each roof is UV-stable clear coated, we recommend leaving the CF roof unpainted, but painting is possible.
-The OE clips to retain the sunroof headliner can be used, we can also include new plastic retention pins on request.
-We like this product: Wet Paint Auto Glaze to protect our carbon fiber parts.
