Sport Championé is a leading motor oil for the unbelievable high stresses of exotic Motorcycle & High RPM automobile engines. This is a formulation that is perfect for the specialized needs of the ///Motorsport BMW engines.
We have worked with Total and found this oil to be excellent for the M engines without the additional "BMW Tax" that afflicts the over priced Castrol TWS.
Sport Championé's fully synthetic formula, has an exceptional resistance to
oxidation at high temperature. Its additives and base oils work against the
formation of deposits, and maintain hydro-dynamic lubrication even at extreme
operation conditions; your engine stays clean and maintains all of its power.
Sport Championé's additives improve the viscosity rating and work to maintain
oil film strength and pressure at high temperature, whilst also maintaining its
fluidity at low temperature.
The bearing HTHS viscosity (High Temperature, High Shear), of this oil
provides users with ideal performance during the high pistons speeds Motorsport
and modified engines see. This flexible viscosity ensures engine protection that
BMW intended.

Q: Is this engine "BMW Approved" ?
A: Castrol TWS is 'BMW approved' for engines that call for 10w-60. This oil is not, however we use this with great success on the ///M engines.
Q:What Type of oil change interval is recommended?
A:Regardless of the oil used, regardless of BMWs service guidelines; we do not recommend extending the change interval beyond 5k to 7500 mile intervals to insure your engines best care (base this difference on the type of driving & use your vehicle sees).
Q:Is this oil truly Synthetic?
A:Yes, unlike many "Synthetic" oils that are actually refined from a crude base, this is a 100% laboratory created PAO-based synthetic oil meant for the highest stresses any street or dual use vehicle will see.
Q:Can I use this oil in other engines?
A:Any 4-stroke that call for a 60 weight oil. We expressly do not recommend using this weight in other engines that call for 15w-50, 10w-40 and lower.
Most BMW engines are actually best served by 5w-30 through 10w-40.
Q:What type of use is this oil recommended for?
A:While this oil is formulated like a race oil, it has longer lasting viscosity characteristics and detergents that make it suitable for use in street driven vehicles.
This formulation is designed to stand up to temperatures that you will likely
see if you track your vehicle, but is also formulated with detergents and the
necessary cleaning agents so it's suitable for every-day use. We use this as a
street fill in all our customers engines that call for 10W-60 with great results.
