For BMW's LSD Differential equipped models:
Model year 2002-Onward Non M models/ those with Quaife installed: 75W140 is applicable.
Model year 2001-Onward M3 and M5/6 models: We recommend Redline Lightweight shockproof.
Both contain additional friction modifiers for suitability with friction-type limited slip differentials - for most LSDs, factory and aftermarket, no additional friction modifiers are required
- Recommended for E46M, Z4M, E92 M3 and later ///M models)
- The typical BMW application will require 3 quarts (as more than 2 are required)
