Racing Dynamics Rasp suppressor pipe for the E46 M3 helps to eliminate the buzzy "rasp" sound that emanates from the factory front section (Section 1) of the original exhaust after you have fitted an aftermarket rear exhausts / muffler.

RD's direct-replacement unit utilizes 2.375" mandrel-bent & polished T304 stainless steel, with TIG welded flanges.
A dual core straight-thru resonated pre-muffler suppresses the annoying rasp sound harmonics while, despite what competitors might claim, continuing to provide a truly free flowing exhaust.

This system works great with all aftermarket mufflers and is very cost effective and popular. Hardware is included but not shown in image.
