We can now offer all of Jet-Hot's famous Hi-Temp Ceramic Coatings directly from VAC Motorsports! Send in your Inline-6 exhaust manifold or header, and receive back a media blasted and gorgeously coated part that looks fantastic and offers exceptional heat insulating properties. Jet hot coatings are coated both inside and out, and we have found significant decreases in under hood temps with each higher level of coating!
The finishes listed below are the most popular, and offer amazing performance. Coated inside and out offers better corrosion resistance, more heat reduction and best appearance.
We do offer JetHot-2000 for turbo / high heat applications on request.
This means your exhaust system will resist rust, last longer, look great, allow your engine to make more power, and keep heat down under the hood so the intake receives the greatest amount of fresh, cool air. We love it!
STERLING: Jet Hot's "Sterling" coating is the best choice for most naturaly asperated BMW customers: It looks fantastic with a polished-like finish, and works well to keep exhaust heat where it belongs; in the exhaust and out of your engine bay! Jet Hot's brightest looking finish. This coating can withstand temperatures up to 1,300ºF and will reduce skin temps on pipes by about 300ºF.
Very low maintenance; easily cleaned with soap and water. You can use any non-abrasive aluminum polish to bring out the shine if it ever gets dirty. It will never turn blue or gold like chrome or stainless. This coating works great on normally aspirated engines and any metal parts that need to have a show quality finish without turning.
EXTREME STERLING: Very similar in appearance to Sterling but not quite as shiny/bright. It will hold its finish 200ºF higher and can actually withstand temps up to 1,700ºF for short periods of time. This amazing finish normally cuts down about 400ºF on the skin temperature of pipes. This coating is great for Supercharged applications, also on pipes that have turned dull or pealed with other high-temp coatings.
