By now, the BMW community knows that not all S54 headers are created equal. Its easy to make a header out-flow the factory catalyst choked US spec manifold, but there is more to offering a real solution...
Fabspeed working along with VAC are extremely excited to offer these headers with unique solutions for the street driven E46 M3 and Z3M with S54 engine:

Sold as a complete set to fit the '01-06 E46 M3, & 2001 Z3M vehicles. These headers not only fit perfectly, and make great power- but they offer built in Oxygen Sensor Spacers for the secondary (aka emissions) O2 sensors.
Externally fitted sensors will typically not fit when screwed onto a normal set of S54 headers. These headers with the internal spacers allow you to fit your secondary O2 sensors in the factory location so no wire extensions are necessary!

NOTES:
-Like all headers for the S54, on US spec cars these headers replace the factory header/cats and eliminate the stock pre-catalysts. It is important to know that this not a street legal modification. As with all performance headers, steps need to be take to pass emissions with this header. Please contact us if you need more information. Due to these facts, we sell this header as a "race part not legal for street use".

A note about S54 headers...
We often get asked about our experience with "Ebay headers" and it's a roll of the dice. When coming from unscrupulous sources such as the ones retailed these days, you don't know if your headers are going to be the ones "shown in the picture" or not. Many have awful O2 sensor fitment, and some don't even clear the floor of your car.
If we could sell you headers that worked perfectly for $300, we would be happy too... but until we find them, we recommend our choices above in each price range.
