The new ESS VT440/450 E46 M3 Super Charger system is based on the technology platform of the street and track proven ESS VT2 kit first introduced in 2003.
The systems are full systems including the rock solid Vortech V2SQ SC unit, 20mm Certal aluminum main bracket for superior rigidity, custom molded silicone discharge tubing, custom molded plastic air intake ducting, Bosch bypass valve assembly, and custom tuned ESS ECU software with OEM 8000RPM limit, removed dyno limiter and removed top speed governor.
Fueling is provided by new, larger Bosch Motorsport fuel injectors.

...and, like all ESS supercharger systems, these new VT kits are tuned and tested for over 50,000 street and track miles on multiple vehicles, 60+ hours on our loading dyno, full load top speed endurance testing on the German Autobahn, and final certification laps on the Nurburgring.
