The Brey Krause E46 harness bar has been independent tested and certified by a qualified laboratory to handle the types of forces required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. DOT and SAE J385 Rev. MAR 95, Motor Vehicle Seat Belt Anchorages-Performance Requirements.Designed to allow use of 4, 5, or 6 point harness in your E46 M3 without the installation of a roll bar or roll cage. This bar can be removed and reattached in about 15 minutes, which makes this an ideal solution for those who still daily drive their cars.
This harness mount bar properly locates and supports
racing shoulder harnesses relative to the driver. In the case of an accident, it
helps protect the driver's shoulders and spine. The harness guides also prevent
excessive shifting and fatigue of the driver during the high G loads of
cornering and braking.
Brey Krause bars are easy to install and remove, and use only existing holes and mounting
points- these will not damage the car in any way!
Strength requirements for harness mounts are considerably greater than those for
harness guide bars since they must support the entire load applied to the belts.

| Miscellaneous: | Bar is designed to allow enough seat travel for tall drivers. After initial installation the bar can be removed and reattached in about 15 minutes. (Seat brace kit available soon.). |
