As with nearly every turbocharged automobile, BMWs downpipes main functions are emissions, cost effectiveness and not much more...
They are bent irregularly and are fitted with flow choking pre-cats. This is a huge hinderance to performance on turbo vehicles and your BMW is no different: this is a major restriction that can unlock much greater performance and reliability by being optimised.
Designed with the intent to make the most power, reliably. These down pipes are created with the least amount of restrictions possible by utilizing full 3" piping throughout, with the least amount of bends and mostly straight sections where possible. The turbo impeller now has the ability to spool much faster; you get better response and more power.

Using 304 stainless steel for added durability, factory like support braces are also implemented to alleviate stresses on the turbos in preparation for aggressive driving that increases heat dramatically. Very important.

There are no catalizers in this set for maximum performance. However please note that these are designed for off-road use and your car will have CEL (Check engine light) without piggyback modifications or ECU software.
